The '''Ticktock Timeclock''' is available to download from Google Play
[https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nz.ticktock.clock]
But requires the old Menu button to configure, and this Menu button is no longer available in the latest version of Andriod

There is an app called '''Menu Button''' [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jettoast.menubutton]
That can be used to enable the menu button to configure '''Ticktock Timeclock''' and then can be turned off

But '''Menu Button''' requires the '''Overlay''' feature and this is disabled in '''Adroid Go''' (which is used on some lower end tablets)

The '''Overlay''' feature can however be enabled for '''Menu Button''' by using '''ADB''' (Android SDK Tools installed on a computer)

Steps to enable '''Menu Button''' App
# Install '''Menu Button''' App
# Turn on '''Developer Options''' on device by going to '''Settings''', then '''About tablet''', then tap on '''Build number''' 7 timese
# Connect Tablet to Computer via USB cable
# Enable USB Debugging under Developer Options
# Run the ADB command below from the computer
# Start '''Menu Button''' App and ensure working
# Can then turn off '''Developer Options'''
Location: C:\Users\mattc\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk\platform-tools
<source lang="sh">
adb shell pm grant jettoast.menubutton android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW
</source>

Steps to configure '''Ticktock Timeclock''' App
# Install '''Ticktock Timeclock''' App
# Start '''Menu Button''' App (to display Menu button overlay)
# Start '''Ticktock Timeclock''' App and configure settings
# Can then Stop ''Menu Button''' App

Google Backup and Sync doesn't upload photos that already exist and keeps displaying these as "Skipped Items"
The message is "these photos and videos are already in google photos"

The reprocess these, found and article on how to change the database setting to change "copy_duplicate_photos"

first you need to go get DB Browser for SQLite. SQLite is the database the photos client uses. After getting that tool you can use it to open the settings database. Generally the database can be found here C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\Local\Google\Drive\user_default\sync_config.db though your system may vary. Use the browse data tab to view the data contained in the data table. Finally, scroll down until you find the setting copy_duplicate_photos. You can edit its value from a 0 to a 1. Restart the backup and sync client and away it goes. Just to be clear, there may be ramifications that are unknown from doing that. I set the option back to 0 once my files were synced
